Rice fish , one for Miichthys (sound miǎn), the shape of bass , but the meat is slightly rough, dark in color, gray brown and green with purple, gray belly. The upper edge of the dorsal fin spines is black, and there is a longitudinal black stripe in the center of the fin. There is a clear spot above the pectoral fin axilla. The remaining fins are gray-black. The body shape of the rice fish is flat on both sides and elongated backward, and the back and abdomen are shallowly curved.
